You're using your Rose garden wrong

When people see Roses they immediately think of Valentine's day or a date night. But when you grow your own Roses you can use them for more than just decoration. Roses are edible and they have a lot of beneficial properties.

🌹 Rosewater is anti-inflammatory and helps reduce pain. You can use it topically on hives, bites, sunburn, mild burns, stings, and rashes. Rosewater is also great for acne as a skincare treatment to help soothe any irritation on the skin.

🌹 It can be taken as a tea for digestive issues like inflammation, to recover from food intolerances, or an upset stomach. Rose tea can also help an overworked liver. There has also been evidence that Rose helps the good bacteria in your gut flourish.

🌹 It is anti-septic and a mild antibacterial. Good first aid for skin infections and minor wound cleaning.

🌹 As a tea, it can be useful for those dealing with depression, trauma, grief, anxiety, and heartbreak. That's because of the effect it has on your digestive system. By helping the inflammation and good bacteria in your gut, Rose directly improves the gut-brain connection. It also improves the serotonin production that is made in the gut.

🌹 Rose can be added to salads, drinks, sodas, jams, water, and smoothies.

You don't have to feel like an expert to dabble in plant medicine. Just start with plants you're familiar with and that you already have in your garden.
